Ivan at work
In the early 20s one is ought to work harder if they are to rest in their 50s. It’s good news that most of our old boys are really working so hard to better their lives and the society. We present to you one of our boys, Ivan Naluma; the CEO of CALM Engineering Workshop.
Uganda faces high rates of unemployment at the moment. These rates can be attributed to the education system that has trained students to look for jobs after graduation instead of creating opportunities even before graduation. Its good news that some of the youths have learnt about this illness and tried to look for ways of solving it by either joining vocational institutions or even starting small scale businesses while at campus. Ivan Naluma thought of beginning something for him and the society. He is now next to an employer at his age. His company produces metallic windows and doors, bed stands, dining chairs and tables among others. He is just an enterprising youth at his early youthful age. We are really grateful for his efforts and passion for his job. His project can be located in Seeta. He is capable of producing anything related to metallic works. He has produced quality products for many of the clients who approach him.
