Pupils at Don Bosco Primary School using ICT (Tablets) under Teacher Fred’s supervision
Don Bosco Primary School is improving in many aspects. One of the aspects which are tremendously growing is the use of ICT by the pupils of Don Bosco Primary School. Technology is ruling the world and many organizations in order to remain productive and competitive have to embrace its use. The “Profuturo Project” from Spain is the one that selected some schools in Uganda, among them our Don Bosco Primary, to benefit the fruits of technology. The training session for the teachers on how to use the tablets – HUAWEI (small computers) was successfully achieved.
A set of 48 tablets, 1 PC and 1 modern projector were provided. Our Don Bosco Primary School was purposively selected as the first school to benefit the use of these tablets. This will boost the productivity of our teachers and improve the academic performance of our school. We thank whole heartedly our Confrere Brother John Njuguna who worked tirelessly in order to get in touch with “Profuturo Project” and achieve the partnership with our Don Bosco Primary School. We look forward to receiving very soon another set of 48 tablets from Profuturo to increase and quench completely the thirst of using ICT for all our pupils for today and for the future.
