At CALM we have interesting children. Many of them are funny and innocent. There is always a beautiful smile on their face despite the tough situation they passed through before they came to our center. As now, life starts smiling to them, they open doors to friendship and brotherhood. Mr Kakuru Derrick (10 years old) is known as a super active boy.
Kakuru Derrick can run about 50 kilometers tirelessly within the compound every day, as he plays. Mr Kato Ivan (10 years old) is a twin to Kakuru and has total different character from the one of his twin (Kakuru). While Mr James Kutesa (5years old) is a friendly boy, he likes to play around with other boys of CALM and especially Kakuru and Kato. Kakuru Derrick dreams of having a lot money and running a big Restaurant, while Kato Ivan plans to become an engineer in building. James Kutesa always dreams of having many spectacles (glasses) of big size, many shoes, and many clothes in order to be smart every time. We look for people of good will to send us big spectacles, shoes and clothes to satisfy dreams of our children.
