A good family can has its father, mother and children, having its own programs whenever their children get their holidays.At Don Bosco Calm, -which houses nearly 200 boys-marginalized-has no parents but there foster parents who look after us. They are Salesian Priests and Bothers helped by uncles, aunties. A part from this, volunteers arrive from Poland –men and women to do voluntary missionary work. The education of these children is their part and major concern, apart from board plus lodge and Medicare, from primary one to the university level. But the big number is being taken to Vocation Training Institutes both Bombo and Kamuli after their primary level.
It was on Sunday 8th, September 2013 when Don Bosco FC played with Busibante FC at Kira Play ground..The kick off time for the game was at 2:40 pm, evening, when these was a sudden burst of heavy rain before the game however it did not prevent the referee from starting the much.After early exchanges that saw Kayiwa Richard and Julius failing to capitalize the many chances they had, including the latter’s brilliant header from close range that implored a champion class save from Busibante FC goal keeper. The first half control of the game was with Don Bosco FC.

On Friday 30th of August 2013, Don Bosco Football club outwitted Buwaate Football Club in the ongoing Kira Champions League Tournament at Kira play ground. The long awaited match of the day kicked off at 4:30pm amidst the cheering crowds of spectators of both teams. Don Bosco F.C. started off at a steady pace and after 15 minutes into the game, Julius Piriot put the ball straight into the net after a poor ball clearance from the defenders of Buwaate F.C. hence putting Don Bosco F.C. into the driving seat. Both teams created several chances throughout the first half but failed to capitalize on them
During our Youth Forum IN KAMULI, the youth met from different parts of the salesians province-AGL-Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda to share their experiences of life and also their difficultiesand challenges. The Youth Forum of this year took place on Tuesday 6th August 2013 and went up to Friday 9th August.
The province youth forum of this year 2013 was held at St. Joseph VTC - Kamuli. It was attended by representatives of Salesian Houses in the three countries of Great Lakes of Africa (A.G.L.) namely; Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. The official opening of this youth forum took place on 6th August and ended on 9th August, 2013. However, before this, there was a meeting of the animators who were selected to represent the different communities of the Salesian Houses.
