Hospitality:On our first day after reaching Namugongo ,we were highly welcomed in the community starting from the uncles who take care of the boys and at Don Bosco CALM. This was really very human and conducive for us.Programmed routine:Everything in Namugongo is well programmed. On our arrival we were showed our rooms in which we could get papers-time table of the day, with all the activities taking place. One cannot get lost.
Dedication to work::The Fathers of the community are totally devoted to their work, even the uncles-Social workers, whom we sometimes helped wherever and whenever it was deemed necessary. Normally in the morning after breakfast we could do some general cleaning around the community house until mid-day. Then lunch and time to be with the boys who come back from school in the afternoon hours. It is well arranged, as one cannot get bored of doing nothing.
Interpersonal relationship: This concerns the interactions we had with the workers, the aunties, the uncles, the Fathers and the boy as well as interpersonal relationships amongst the boys. It really boosted us and we have no regret. In general, there is Great Spirit of community life in Namugongo CALM. Good care: In Namugongo, I have to say, there is a special extraordinary care given to everyone by the people responsible, for example, for us who came as visitors were warmly welcomed, given rooms (accommodation), given programs and well fed. So, this made life flowing without any difficulty. Prayers: In Namugongo, the prayers are well programmed in the community, at the big chapel with daily morning mass and also evening prayers (rosary) with the boys hence showing a good sign of spiritual life in Namugongo CALM.In general, my stay in Namugongo was very marvelous and colorful in almost all the corners and with this I congratulate the people responsible especially; Fr.Richard (Rector), Fr.Jean Marie (vice Rector), Bro.Robert, Bro.Cat, the uncles and the aunties and all the workers in CALM. Thanks, GOD BLESS YOU ALL
